Tasting – Alvaro Domecq Aranda Cream Sherry

Name: Aranda Cream Sherry
Producer: Alvaro Domecq
Variety: Palamino and Pedro Ximénez
Region: Jerez
Country: Spain
Vintage: NV
Price: $9.95
Wine Review: “Golden-brown in color, this has heady aromas of cola, nut, nutmeg, root beer and caramel. A pure, creamy palate of cinnamon apple, mocha, coffee and chocolate. It’s quite smooth and balanced, and very long on the finish.”
My Review: Brown, like cream soda, in color, and medium-full bodied.  Aromas of vanilla, heat, and salted nuts.  Tastes of brown sugar, caramel, walnuts, and nuts, with a lingering walnut flavor.
